The short version

If you choose “Text me the download link” when you order a custom intro and check the consent box, Chuck the Announcer sends one transactional text message per order to the US mobile number you give us. That text contains the download link for your finished video. That’s it: no marketing, no promotions, no recurring messages.

Who sends the texts

Texts are sent by Chuck the Announcer, a comedy brand operated by DUMAC Publishing LLC, through our SMS delivery provider.

Message frequency

One message per order, sent when your video is ready (usually within 24 hours of checkout). If you place more than one order, you get one text per order. We may send a single follow-up only if you text HELP or STOP (see below).

Consent is optional

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. You can always choose email delivery instead, and the consent box is never pre-checked.

Opting out: STOP

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You’ll get one confirmation text and no further messages to that number. If you opt out before your video is ready, email us and we’ll send your link by email instead.

Help: HELP

Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected] with the email address you used at checkout.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan. Chuck the Announcer doesn’t charge for text messages.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage. If your text doesn’t arrive, email us and we’ll resend your link by email.

Your number is never sold

We never sell, rent or share your phone number or SMS consent with anyone for marketing purposes. Your number is used only to deliver your order. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
